Obermeyer Carlson Office (OCO) is an architecture and design practice based between Los Angeles and Mexico City founded by Andrew Obermeyer and Daniel Carlson. With over thirty years of combined experience, the office takes a collaborative approach to create bespoke environments and buildings that are tailored to specific contexts and needs - no two projects are alike. OCO is currently developing a diverse range of projects in Los Angeles, New York, Florida, Minnesota, Washington D.C., Wyoming, Portugal, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Todos Santos, Oaxaca, and Mexico City.

Andrew Obermeyer received a Master of Architecture from the University of California at Los Angeles and an undergraduate degree in art and architecture at the Otis College of Art and Design. He is a member of the A+D Museum’s Exhibitions Committee, where he is committed to supporting and celebrating the diversity of design in Los Angeles. Andrew's extensive work experience encompasses over fifteen years of practice in California where he is a licensed architect. Andrew has previously collaborated on various projects with Frank O'Gehry Associates, Ray Kappe, and Johnston Marklee, among others.

Daniel Carlson earned his Master of Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota. Prior to founding Obermeyer Carlson Office, Daniel worked with several internationally acclaimed offices, including Dellekamp Arquitectos (Mexico City), Barkow Leibinger (Berlin), Christian Kerez (Zurich), and Escher GuneWardena (Los Angeles), where he led projects ranging from the restoration of John Lautner's iconic Chemosphere to the design of four parking structures on Muharraq's Pearling Path. Daniel is a licensed architect in Minnesota and teaches as an adjunct professor of Architecture at the University of Minnesota.
